Read the WhatsApp dashboard metrics in Inaiy: contacts, unread chats, live channels, approved templates, items that need attention, and delivery rates.

On this page
The Inaiy dashboard shows your WhatsApp dashboard metrics on one page: how many contacts you have, how many conversations are unread, which channels are live, how many templates are approved, what needs action today, and how many messages were sent and delivered in the last 7 days. Open it by clicking Dashboard at the top of the left menu. It is the first page you see after you sign in.
Use it as a two-minute morning check. If a number looks wrong, the dashboard links straight to the page where you fix it.
Who this is for and what you need first
This guide is for owners, support leads, and anyone who starts the day in Inaiy.
You need:
- An Inaiy workspace you can sign in to. Every role has the dashboard in its menu.
- At least one connected channel. Without one, the cards show zeros. See connect WhatsApp Business API.
- A few sent messages or campaigns, so the delivery numbers have something to count.
Steps to read your WhatsApp dashboard metrics
1. Read the four summary cards
Click Dashboard in the left menu. The header greets you and names the workspace and its main WhatsApp number. The chip on the right (callout 1) shows the reporting window, Last 7 days, with the exact dates beside it.
Below the header are four cards:
- Contacts: everyone saved in your CRM.
- Unread conversations: chats nobody has opened yet. None unread means the inbox is clear.
- Channels live: connected channels, with the number configured underneath. "3, 5 configured" means two channels need attention.
- Templates approved: WhatsApp templates Meta has approved and you can send.
Each card is a link. Click it to open Contacts, the Inbox, Channels, or Templates.
Under the cards, the quick actions (callout 2) jump to Open Inbox, New campaign, Workflows & AI, and Commerce orders.
2. Clear the Needs attention list
The Needs attention panel lists items that may need action today. Each row has a label, a priority tag, and a link to the right page. For example:
- 3 unread conversations tagged High with Open Inbox means customers are waiting for a reply.
- 9 orders awaiting pack tagged Medium with View Orders (callout 1) opens the orders that are still processing.
- Product_enquiry is LIVE tagged Info with View agent tells you an AI agent is answering customers.
Work from the top. The list is built from live counts, so an item drops off once its count reaches zero. When nothing is left, the panel says All caught up — no urgent items right now.
3. Check channel health
The Channel health panel on the right lists every connected WhatsApp number, Instagram account, and Facebook Page with a status:
- CONNECTED in green means messages flow both ways.
- DISCONNECTED in orange means Inaiy cannot send or receive on that channel.
last check shows when Inaiy last confirmed the status. Click Manage (callout 2) to open Settings → Channels and reconnect a channel.
4. Review messaging performance
Scroll down to Messaging performance. It covers campaign delivery over the last 7 days:
- Messages sent: campaign messages that left Inaiy.
- Messages delivered: messages that reached the customer's phone.
- Failed rate: the share of messages that failed.
- Delivered rate: the share that was delivered, shown as a ring.
If you have not sent a campaign in the last 7 days, the panel says No messages sent in the last 7 days yet. That is the empty state, not an error.
Click Analytics (callout 1) for the full report, with per-campaign numbers, read rates, and an Inbox tab.
How to confirm it worked
You are reading the dashboard correctly when the numbers match what you see elsewhere:
- Unread conversations equals the unread count in the Inbox.
- Channels live equals the number of channels marked Connected in the Channel health panel.
- After a campaign finishes, Messages sent goes up the next time you open the dashboard, and the Analytics page shows the same campaign.
If a card shows zero but you know there is data, reload the page. If it still shows zero, check that the right channel is connected.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring an orange DISCONNECTED tag. A disconnected number cannot receive messages, so customers wait without a reply. Click Manage, open the channel, and reconnect it the same day.
- Reading a 0% delivered rate as a delivery problem. When nothing was sent in the last 7 days, the rate is 0% by default. Check Messages sent first; a real problem shows sent messages with few deliveries.
- Treating Contacts as active customers. The Contacts card counts everyone in your CRM, including people who never replied. Use segments to find active customers.

Frequently asked questions
What time period do the dashboard numbers cover?
The Messaging performance panel and the header chip cover the last 7 days, with the exact dates shown next to the chip. The summary cards show current totals: all contacts in your CRM, conversations unread right now, channels connected now, and templates approved now. For longer periods, open the Analytics page.
Why does Channels live show fewer channels than I connected?
Channels live counts only channels whose status is Connected. The smaller number under it counts every configured channel. A gap means some channels are disconnected, usually because a token expired or access was removed on Meta. Look for the orange tag in Channel health and click Manage to reconnect it.
Can agents see the dashboard too?
Yes. The dashboard is in every role's menu, but each card only shows data that role can view. If a role cannot view contacts or the inbox, that card shows a dash instead of a number, and order items only appear for people who can view orders. Owners and Admins see everything.
