Can parents reply to reminder messages?
Yes. Replies come back into the shared inbox as normal conversations, so your staff can answer them.
Do parents and students need to opt in?
Yes. WhatsApp requires that contacts agree to hear from you. inaiy stores opt-in status for each contact and lets you send campaigns only to opted-in contacts.
Can I import my student list?
Yes. Upload a CSV with names, phone numbers and tags such as class or batch, then build segments from those tags.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Every new workspace starts with a 14-day Starter trial, so you can connect your own WhatsApp Business number and send campaigns. After that it stays on the free plan, with the inbox, contacts and message templates on a shared inaiy number at ₹0, until you upgrade. No card needed to sign up.
Who pays the WhatsApp message charges?
Meta bills WhatsApp conversation charges for your own WhatsApp Business number directly. They are not part of the inaiy subscription.
Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?
You connect a number through Meta’s official WhatsApp sign-up inside inaiy. Whether an existing number can be moved depends on how it is used today, so our team checks this with you during setup.
